Benefits

The ACDC 160 is a versatile machine, ideally suited to automotive and light industrial applications. On maximum power and maximum duty cycle it consumes only 2.5kVA, which means it requires only a 16A fuse, and can be used in the field with a 10 kVA generator.

The machines Digital Amp Meter allows easy configuration to produce professional welds every time. The ACDC 160 is capable of handling all standard materials, including mild and stainless steel and aluminum up to 8mm thick. The machine can also be used with a remote foot control. *

Note 1: If operating the machine in its higher output current range for long durations, water cooling of thetorch is an option. *

Note 2: A mobile trolley is available to take on board, the ACDC 160, a water cooler and full height gas cylinder.*

Note 3: When MMA (stick electrode) welding is required, a MMA Kit is available as an optional extra. *

All our ACDC TIG machines feature our super square wave balance technology, which means excellent cleaning of aluminum whilst welding and complete control of penetration.
